How to Use Filter Carts Properly

Although filter carts are often used for any fluid needing filtration regardless of chemical make-up and viscosity grade, this is a practice that should be avoided. These carts are rarely flushed out adequately between uses. The best place to combat misuse of your filter carts is to start with the design.

Careless Lubricant Storage Can Be Costly

Careful, well-planned lubricant storage is essential if contamination and problems associated with severe temperature changes are to be avoided. Costly lawsuits have been fought unnecessarily because lubricant users unwittingly allowed stored lubricants to become contaminated with water, additive or grease thickener separation occurred, or severe temperature changes caused other problems such as oil oxidation or freezing in storage.
